Spring Kick-off with Dr. Seuss
March 2nd is such a fun day because we celebrate our favorite author Dr. Seuss. Not only is March 2nd a fun day but it’s a fun week as we kick off the month of March. Depending on where you live, springtime is around the corner and birds are chirping, the sun is shining and kids are getting the spring break urge.
I was in charge of Read Across America Week at my school and we had so much fun! We had a book cover decorating contest, daily Dr. Seuss themed spirit days, trivia game, mystery readers and so much more! Even the students in 6th grade enjoyed the week! One of my favorite parts of Read Across America Week was seeing all the teachers put together the cutest Dr. Seuss themed bulletin boards! I wanted to share so you could save the ideas for next year! Some of these were just too cute to pass up! I hope you enjoyed your Dr. Seuss week and hope you enjoy saving these ideas for your next year’s celebration!
Ashlyn,
The bulletin boards are wonderful! I especially like the one for The Places You'll Go! Great ideas.

Cute bulletin board ideas Ashlyn!
Love these cute bulletin board ideas! I love this idea for next year! We did Read Across America Day too, but this would be cute to extend it for a whole week next year!!
