Come Together, Go Further – TPT Conference 2015

It’s hard to come up with the right words to describe my experience in Vegas this past week. I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to go and learn from the best of the best at the TpT Conference 2015. After attending last year, I wondered how they could possibly make this year better and without a doubt they most certainly did! Every last moment of this conference was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!
I started out the week hosting a sensational pool party with the beautiful Lindsey Petlak from It’s Elementary, My Dear. I loved working with her and planning this exciting event. Everything turned out fabulous and I think all of our guests really enjoyed themselves while basking in the Vegas sunshine! It was so fun to get to know so many great teachers while we sipped on drinks and laid out!
Wednesday evening we attended the Blogger Meet-up which was hosted by the Blog Hoppin’ girls! It was fun to mingle and chat with new friends from all over the globe! Of course the night didn’t end there, we took a walk to Margaritaville and had some more dinner and drinks.
Thursday and Friday was filled with training, training and more training. I didn’t think I could learn so many new things from Erin Cobb‘s class on becoming a Teacherpreneaur to Mel D‘s Advanced Pinterest tips! I think one of my favorite classes was taught by an employee of Facebook who came and talked to us small business owners on how we can take our Facebook account to the next level with advertising! I LOVED this because of course I LOVE FACEBOOK!
The nights that followed the classes were fun of course. We enjoyed a little Buddy V’s Italian food and Serendipity’s Frozen Hot Chocolate! I’m still salivating over here thinking about all the amazing food and treats we had!
After having time to really think about what I came away with from this conference, I chose the one thing that I loved most, it was spending time with amazing people! I was able to to finally meet my teacher twin Tami from O-H So Blessed and be her roommate for the week! We have so much in common and I loved hearing about her life in Ohio! I can’t wait till we get another opportunity to see each other again. In addition to meeting Tami, I was able to build friendships with my fellow AZ bloggers. I love my group of bloggers from Arizona that I get to collaborate often with! They are such a great group of women and I’m blessed to live and work nearby each of them.
In closing, I want to express how grateful I am for TpT. With TpT I get to share my creativity with other teachers all over the world and get to learn from the most amazing teacher authors at the same time. We truly are blessed to be part of such a fabulous adventure!
