September 11th

On September 11, 2001 our nation was devastated by terrorist attacks. It didn’t tear us down but as a nation it built us up and made us come closer as one. For my students who are too young to know about this day, we watched a short video this morning that I found on YouTube and then did a hero writing and flag craft. The children understood the importance of a hero and how many were heroes on this day in history. Enjoy this freebie!!
