Introducing Paper Bag Novel Studies
I love teaching 1st and 2nd grade because of the wonderful literature for this age level. I’ve been working on a fun interactive notebook idea using paper bag books. I’m currently working on 8 different paper bag novel studies for popular books for 2nd and 3rd grade. In just a few weeks you will be able to get your hands on a paper bag book set for each of the following titles; Charlotte’s Web, My Father’s Dragon, Sarah Plain and Tall, Stone Fox, Because of Winn Dixie, Gooney Bird Greene, Miraculous Adventures of Edward Tulane and Fantastic Mr. Fox. These paper bag book sets will be sold individually and bundled together in a 2nd-3rd grade set. I will then continue working on the paper bag novel studies for kinder and 1st grade in the fall! I can’t wait to bring creativity to favorite classroom novel studies where students can have fun reading but also create a fun interactive reading scrapbook!
